Cable or balusters under the wood cap?
Balusters give the classic farmhouse rhythm; cable opens the flight further and reads a little more contemporary. Both work under the same wood handrail, and plenty of homes here decide based on how open they want the stairwell to feel.
Is replacing our builder railing a big project?
Smaller than most owners expect. The staircase stays and only the railing changes. We measure, fabricate the complete system in our shop, then swap the old for the new at your house.
