Yes. Happy Valley, Clackamas, Damascus, Milwaukie, and the rest of the metro are all in our regular service area.
Can we mix materials on the stair and the balcony run?
Yes, and some owners do, glass on the balcony run and metal on the stair for a handhold. Because we build both in our own shop, the finishes and details match.
How do you keep a long upstairs run straight?
Post and baluster placement set to the run as measured, and fabrication in sections cut to those dimensions. On a run that long, that is the difference between a railing that looks deliberate and one that drifts.
Is it worth replacing builder-grade iron balusters?
Usually. Builder systems are chosen for install speed, not design, and they date a home quickly. A custom steel, cable, or glass railing changes the feel of the entry, which is the most visible sightline in the house.
What does upgrading a two-story foyer railing involve?
We measure the stair flight and the upper railing run, fabricate the full system in our shop, then remove the old railing and install the new one. Because both runs are designed together, the finished foyer reads as one intentional piece.
