Do you cover the rest of Washington County?
We do. Beaverton, Hillsboro, Tigard, Aloha, and the surrounding metro are all standard territory.
Can we mix glass and metal on one staircase?
Yes, and it is common. Glass where you want light, metal or cable elsewhere. Because we fabricate everything ourselves, the hardware and finishes match across both.
Will a new railing work on an older mid-century stair?
Usually. Older stairs are rarely perfectly square, so we measure the actual rise and run and fabricate to it rather than assuming uniform dimensions. That is the whole reason custom fabrication exists.
Do we have to redo the whole staircase?
No. Treads, stringers, and the stair itself stay where they are. We remove the old railing and install the new one on the existing flight, which is why a railing swap changes the whole space without a staircase remodel.
Can a stair railing go in where a half-wall used to be?
Yes. We do not take the wall out ourselves, that is work for your contractor, but once the opening exists we measure it, fabricate the railing, and install it. We check the framing at the measure visit, since an old wall often leaves nothing solid where a post needs to land.
