Do you work beyond Lake Oswego?
We do. West Linn, Dunthorpe, Tualatin, Portland, and the rest of the metro are all core territory, with lakefront and view decks a specialty throughout.
Can you replace the railing on our existing deck?
Yes. If the deck structure is sound, we measure it, fabricate the new railing to those dimensions, and install it in place of the old one, in whichever material and style suits the home.
Can you build an ornamental railing for a formal terrace?
Yes. Hand-worked iron, brass tones, and decorative pattern work are regular commissions in the estate neighborhoods, fabricated in our own shop and finished for the outdoors.
Cable or glass for a wooded hillside deck?
Cable, often. It keeps the deck open to the trees, costs less than glass, and does not show water spots after a wet week. Glass is the pick when you want maximum clarity and the most wind protection on an exposed deck.
What deck railing is best for a lakefront home?
Frameless glass, in most cases. It keeps the water fully in view from the deck and from inside, with nothing crossing the outlook. Cable is the strong alternative where you want a lighter budget or a bit more texture, and it stays open too.
